Elections to the Danish Folketing
Election Data
 

National-, regional- and district-level election data used by the Folketing election results lookup system is now available in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format.

The data files (one per Folketing election) consist of the following columns:

  • Region (blank for Denmark totals)
  • District (blank for Denmark or regional totals)
  • Election
  • List Letter
  • List or Election Statistic
  • Votes, Voters or Electors
  • Percent
  • District Seats
  • Additional Seats
  • Total Seats

The election statistics come from official reports issued by the Danish Ministry for Economic Affairs and the Interior and Statistics Denmark. Note that following a comprehensive local government reform, the existing seventeen electoral districts and three regions were replaced in 2007 by ten districts, grouped into three new electoral regions.
